The last exhibition of the (S)exhibitions 2023/2024 season is focused on a selection of erotic-themed works by nine international artists, as always from the Ospizio Giovani Artisti Collection.

José Alameda Lugo (Puerto Rico, USA, 1990). Director, embarked on his professional journey by immersing himself in the dynamic and intrinsically theatrical world of drag artists and fashion photography. The distinctive style cultivated during this early period has left an indelible mark on both his commercial productions and conceptual projects. Josh Anton is recognized for his comprehensive mastery of photography, showcasing an inclusive range of styles, spanning from commercial to fine art photography and video. José Vélez. Director, holds a master's degree in architecture with a secondary focus on art and technology. Since 2016, he has specialized in photography and video lighting design for both commercial and artistic endeavors. His personal creative pursuits revolve around an artistic and conceptual approach to erotic photography and video, characterized by anonymous spaces and vibrant color blurs. Since 2021, Nosveran Studio, under his direction, has also become a safe haven for LGBTQI+ creative individuals.
Katarzyna Bak (Włoszczowa, Poland, 1974) studied at the Faculty of Art Education in Czestochowa, Poland, specialising in lithography. After graduating, she moved to Italy, where she works as an artist and art designer. Since 1996, she has exhibited her works in various solo and group exhibitions in Poland, Belgium, England, Ukraine, Germany and Italy. The question of identity, accompanied by constant reflection on the relationship between our soul, our body and the world around us, appears central in several cycles of works created in recent years.
Patrizia Angiolina Belvedere (Reggio Calabria, Italy, 1963). Graduated from art school, technically eclectic, passionate designer, painter and digital artist. "In my works, light is the protagonist (often subtly). My style is spiritual (voodoo, vodu, voudou, etc). I am an individualist and believe in freedom as the ultimate goal to a true and healthy identity" (P.A.B.).
Werther Germondari (Rimini, Italy, 1963) Visual artist, performer and filmmaker. Interested in innovative experimental dynamics that are neo-conceptual and situational, characterized by a taste for the ironic and surreal, Germondari has experimented since the 80’ through many different expressive media (from painting to installations, photography to film, videos to live performance). Germondari's works have also been shown in solo exhibitions where he focuses on hidden elements highlighted in styles. In 2013 he founded the Ospizio Giovani Artisti.
Pedro Lavin (1989) is filmmaker and visual artist from Mexico City, currently living and working in NYC. His work explores self mythology, ritual and personal pantheons; weaving magical realism and oneiric fantasy with his own lived experience to create story. This aesthetic pursuit is rooted in themes of sex, gender and desire; the metamorphotic power of nature; and the primal link between the sacred and the profane. With an extensive background in creative direction for film, animation and VFX; and an audacious, pioneering embrace of novel tech and AI; Lavin’s multidisciplinary practice unfolds across a variety of mediums including film, concept and generative art.
Guby Moon (Almeria, Spain, 1991) “It's a summer night and it's very hot. Mila is lying in bed and can't sleep. Then her hands slide down all over her body as her mind fantasizes taking her on a cosmic journey to the stars and beyond. This is a poetic story about a hot summer night's fantasy”.
Rowan Romeiro (Imperatriz, Brasil, 1995) is a mixed media artist from the Northeast region of Brasil. Her works are rooted in analog photography, but it also consists of using diverse materials together with the photos, such as videos, painting, embroidery, collage, and natural substance. “In this project, I worked along with Camila Albrecht. In my creation process, I sought to talk about the body, mutation by nature, and the restlessness of inhabiting the mind of humans. Camila worked with the sublime in the unknown through symbols that represent the unconscious, and this only happened through a great exercise of thinking and giving up dark areas of each image to me”.
Camila Albrecht (Campo Grande, Brasil, 1995), is a visual artist and photographer based in Porto Alegre, Brazil. With a BA in Cinema, she have been working on experimental filmmaking and exploring analog photography technics to compose her art production. Having worked on documentaries, landscape and portrait photography projects. In her researches she develop narratives about the dreamlike state and surreal subjects, usually applying some technics such as macro photography, complex double exposures, red scale, film soup, expired film and others.

José Alameda Lugo (Puerto Rico, USA, 1990). Regista, ha intrapreso il suo percorso professionale immergendosi nel mondo dinamico e intrinsecamente teatrale dei drag artist e della fotografia di moda. Lo stile distintivo coltivato durante questo primo periodo ha lasciato un segno indelebile sia nelle sue produzioni commerciali che nei suoi progetti concettuali. Josh Anton è riconosciuto per la sua completa padronanza della fotografia, mostrando una gamma inclusiva di stili, che spazia dalla fotografia commerciale alla fotografia artistica e ai video. José Velez. Regista, ha conseguito un master in architettura con indirizzo secondario arte e tecnologia. Dal 2016 si specializza in fotografia e lighting design video sia per attività commerciali che artistiche. Le sue ricerche creative personali ruotano attorno a un approccio artistico e concettuale alla fotografia e ai video erotici, caratterizzato da spazi anonimi e vibranti sfumature di colore. Dal 2021, Nosveran Studio, sotto la sua direzione, è diventato anche un rifugio sicuro per i creativi LGBTQI+.
Katarzyna Bak (Włoszczowa, Polonia, 1974) ha studiato presso la Facoltà di Educazione Artistica di Czestochowa in Polonia, specializzandosi in litografia. Dopo la laurea si è trasferita in Italia, dove lavora come artista e art designer. Dal 1996 ha esposto le sue opere in varie mostre personali e collettive in Polonia, Belgio, Inghilterra, Ucraina, Germania e Italia. La questione identitaria, accompagnata da una costante riflessione sul rapporto tra la nostra anima, il nostro corpo e il mondo che ci circonda, appare centrale in diversi cicli di opere realizzate negli ultimi anni.
Patrizia Angiolina Belvedere (Reggio Calabria, 1963). Diplomata al liceo artistico, tecnicamente eclettica, appassionata disegnatrice, pittrice e artista digitale. “Nelle mie opere la luce è protagonista (spesso subdolamente). Il mio stile è spirituale (vudú, vodu, voudou, ecc). Sono individualista e credo nella libertà come fine ultimo ad una vera e sana identità” (P.A.B.).
Werther Germondari (Rimini, 1963) Artista visivo, performer e filmmaker. Attento a dinamiche innovative sperimentali neo-concettuali che si caratterizzano per un gusto ironico e surreale, svolge dai primi anni ottanta una ricerca attraverso numerosi media espressivi. Ha partecipato a esposizioni in gallerie private e spazi sperimentali internazionali, alternando installazioni d’ambiente, videowork e atti performativi, focalizzando l’attenzione su elementi nascosti, attinenti a una visione reale, sociale e politica. Nel 2013 ha ideato l’Ospizio Giovani Artisti.
Pedro Lavin (1989) è regista e artista visivo di Città del Messico che attualmente vive e lavora a New York. Il suo lavoro esplora la mitologia personale, i rituali e i pantheon personali, intrecciando realismo magico e fantasia onirica con la propria esperienza vissuta per creare storie. Questa ricerca estetica è radicata nei temi del sesso, del genere e del desiderio, il potere metamorfitico della natura e il legame primordiale tra sacro e profano.
Guby Moon (Almeria, Spagna, 1991) “È una notte d'estate e fa molto caldo. Mila è a letto e non riesce a dormire. Poi le sue mani scivolano lungo tutto il corpo mentre la sua mente fantastica di portarla in un viaggio cosmico verso le stelle e oltre. Questa è una storia poetica sulla fantasia di una calda notte d'estate”.
Rowan Romeiro (Imperatriz, Brasile, 1995) Il suo lavoro affonda le sue radici nella fotografia analogica, ma consiste anche nell'utilizzare materiali diversi insieme alle foto, come video, pittura, ricamo, collage e sostanze naturali. “In questo progetto ho lavorato insieme a Camila Albrecht. Nel mio processo di creazione ho cercato di parlare del corpo, della mutazione per natura e dell'irrequietezza di abitare la mente degli esseri umani. Camila ha lavorato sublimando l'ignoto attraverso simboli che rappresentano l'inconscio, e questo è potuto avvenire solo attraverso un grande esercizio di riflessione e rinuncia delle zone oscure di ogni immagine”.
Camila Albrecht (Campo Grande, Brasile, 1995), è un'artista visiva e fotografa con sede a Porto Alegre, Brasile. Con una laurea in cinema, ha lavorato sulla regia sperimentale ed esplorato le tecniche della fotografia analogica per comporre la sua produzione artistica. Ha lavorato a documentari, progetti di fotografia di paesaggi e ritratti. Nelle sue ricerche sviluppa narrazioni sullo stato onirico e su soggetti surreali, solitamente applicando alcune tecniche come la macrofotografia, doppie esposizioni complesse, scala rossa, zuppa di pellicola, pellicola scaduta e altre.
