Acquired data, knowledge and awareness, becoming aware of something and trying to orient oneself accordingly, in a serious but sometimes ironic and sarcastic manner. All this seems to be present in the works of eight international artists, as always coming from the OGA Collection.

Teymur Daimi (Baku, Azerbaijan, 1966) filmmaker, visual artist, philosopher (PH.D.). Graduated from Azerbaijan State Art College in 1985 and Azerbaijan State Culture and Art University in 1993. Since 2001 he has been working on audiovisual sphere as a film director. He is participant of International Film Festivals, Exhibitions and Biennial including 1st Thessaloniki Biennial in 2007 and at the 53rd Venice Biennial in 2009 in the frame of Azerbaijan pavilion. Member of the Union of cinematographers of Azerbaijan.
Morgan Menegazzo (Lendinara, Italy, 1976). After his studies in cinematography at the University of Bologna, where he attended the DAMS (Discipline of Arts, Music and Show business) course, he graduated from the NUCT (New University of Cinema and Television) in Cinecittà. Director, author and editor, since 2001 he has been involved in the making of movies, documentaries and video installations. In 2001, with Mariachiara Pernisa, create Hankgefmobility, an independent multidisciplinary project including videos, films and documentaries, was born from their meeting.
Mariachiara Pernisa (Lugo, Italy, 1981). Her work revolves around pictures. She graduated at the Accademia di Belle Arti (Academy of Fine Arts) in Bologna and earned a master's degree in film editing and photography at the Accademia di Cinema e Televisione Griffith (Academy of Cinema and Television) in Rome. Author and movie editor, since 2001 she has been making movies, documentaries and video installations. She collaborate with Morgan Menezazzo and their works were released in movie theaters,and were also broadcast by national broadcasting companies and satellite networks.
Werther Germondari (Rimini, Italy, 1963) Visual artist, performer and filmmaker. Interested in innovative experimental dynamics that are neo-conceptual and situational, characterized by a taste for the ironic and surreal, Germondari has experimented for 35 years through many different expressive media (from painting to installations, photography to film, videos to live performance). Germondari's works have also been shown in solo exhibitions where he focuses on hidden elements highlighted in styles. In 2013 he founded the Ospizio Giovani Artisti.
Mana Mehrabian (Tehran, Iran, 1985) lives and works in the USA. Her conceptual and interactive works engage the contemporary world of images and its dominant power in inciting viewpoint and awareness. Mana’s work invites viewers to lend their thoughts and attention to the influence of images that surround them every day. By referencing photography as a medium and its related theories, her works conduct a dynamic investigation of meaning and consciousness as they prompt viewers to think about their perceptions.
Mauricio Sanhueza (Lima, Peru,1978) studied at the University of Lima from 1996 until 2000. He then continued his studies at the Lima visual arts school, graduating in 2006 with top honors. Since 2004 he has participated in several collective art exhibits and festivals in Peru and abroad. Mauricio's videos have been screened at many international video-art and experimental short-film festivals and have won many awards.
Dana Sperry (Akron, USA, 1973) is an interdisciplinary digital media artist whose work spans multiple formats and mediums. His has been exhibited/screened widely including New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Paris, Moscow, Amsterdam, Rio de Janeiro and New Delhi, India. He currently in an Associate Professor of Digital Media in the Department of Art at Youngstown State University (United States).
Benna Gaean Maris (anonymous artist) The artwork in the exhibition “allegorically represents the difficult epochal renewal of the thought: a new vision that exposes the folly of a whole mental system pre-established on an obliterating cognitive circumscription. Exposing the machinations of a perverse mankind, of which, once shattered the mystifying bubble concealing it, the bizarre characteristics are revealed, expressed in the referentiality and fulfilled in the dogma and in the taboo”.

Teymur Daimi (Baku, Azerbaijan, 1966) filmmaker, artista visivo e filosofo laureato nel 1985 presso l'Accademia d'arte statale dell'Azerbaijan e nel 1993 all'Università statale di cultura e arte dell'Azerbaigian. Dal 2001 lavora come regista alla sfera audiovisiva. È autore di numerosi articoli e saggi in edizioni locali e internazionali di arte e cultura. Ha partecipato a festival, mostre e biennali internazionali, tra cui la 1a Biennale di Salonicco nel 2007 e la 53a Biennale di Venezia nel 2009, nel padiglione dell'Azerbaijan. Membro dell'Unione dei cineasti dell'Azerbaigian.
Werther Germondari (Rimini, 1963) Artista visivo, performer e filmmaker. Attento a dinamiche innovative sperimentali neo-concettuali che si caratterizzano per un gusto ironico e surreale, svolge dai primi anni ottanta una ricerca attraverso numerosi media espressivi. Ha partecipato a esposizioni in gallerie private e spazi sperimentali internazionali, alternando installazioni d’ambiente, videowork e atti performativi, focalizzando l’attenzione su elementi nascosti, attinenti a una visione reale, sociale e politica. Nel 2013 ha ideato l’Ospizio Giovani Artisti.
Mana Mehrabian (Tehran, Iran, 1985) vive e lavora negli USA. Le sue opere concettuali e interattive coinvolgono il mondo contemporaneo delle immagini e il suo potere dominante nell'incitare il punto di vista e la consapevolezza. Il suo lavoro invita gli spettatori a prestare i loro pensieri e la loro attenzione all'influenza delle immagini che li circondano ogni giorno. Facendo riferimento alla fotografia come a un mezzo e alle sue teorie correlate, i suoi lavori conducono un'indagine dinamica sul significato e sulla coscienza quando sollecitano gli spettatori a pensare alle loro percezioni.
Morgan Menegazzo (Lendinara, 1976). Regista, autore e coordinatore editoriale. La sua indagine si focalizza principalmente sul rapporto tra medium e linguaggio e sul ruolo della luce nella definizione della realtà visiva. Dopo gli studi in Cinematografia compiuti al D.A.M.S. di Bologna, consegue il diploma in regia presso la Nuova Università del Cinema e Televisione (NUCT) in Cinecittà. Dal 2001 collabora con Mariachiara Pernisa ed insieme creano Hankgefmobility, un progetto multidisciplinare indipendente che comprende opere video, film e documentari.
Mariachiara Pernisa (Lugo, 1981). Autrice e montatrice. Si occupa di immagini, al confine tra fotografia, cinema e videoarte. La sua ricerca indaga la capacità illusoria, propria dei media audiovisivi, di trattenere l'inarrestabile, facendosi forma. Dopo la laurea presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna, consegue il diploma specialistico in montaggio e fotografia presso l’Accademia di Cinema e Televisione Griffith di Roma. Le opere realizzate insieme a Morgan Megegazzo sono state distribuite in sala e trasmesse da emittenti televisive e network satellitari.
Mauricio Sanhueza (Lima, Perù, 1978) ha studiato all'Università di Lima dal 1996 al 2000. Ha poi continuato i suoi studi presso la scuola di arti visive di Lima. Dal 2004 ha partecipato a numerose mostre d'arte collettive e festival internazionali. I video di Mauricio sono stati proiettati in molti festival internazionali di video arte e cortometraggi sperimentali e hanno vinto molti premi.
Dana Sperry (Akron, USA, 1973) è un'artista multimediale digitale interdisciplinare il cui lavoro si estende su più formati e medium. Le sue opere sono state esposte e proiettate in mostre e festival a New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Parigi, Mosca, Amsterdam, Rio de Janeiro, Nuova Delhi... Attualmente è professore associato di Digital Media presso il Dipartimento di Arte della Youngstown State University (USA).
Benna Gaean Maris (artista anonimo) L'opera d'arte in mostra "rappresenta allegoricamente il difficile rinnovamento epocale del pensiero: una nuova visione che espone la follia di un intero sistema mentale prestabilito su una circoscrizione conoscitiva obliterante. Esporre le macchinazioni di un'umanità perversa, di cui, una volta infranta la bolla mistificante che la nasconde, si rivelano le caratteristiche bizzarre, espresse nella referenzialità e soddisfatte nel dogma e nel tabù".
