Nature and dreams are the only themes that intertwine in this exhibition, thanks to the works of six international artists, as always from the OGA Collection.

Cesare Bedogné (Sondrio, Italy, 1968) Cesare Bedogné is an Italian photographer, film-maker and writer. He graduated cum laude in Mathematics. In the course of his studies, he also deepened his interest for the visual arts, with particular attention to cinema, and “in the aim to capture the gaze in its pure state”, he eventually devoted himself to photography. "I believe that photography is an adaptation of vision to a spiritual necessity - the eye forms an image which in its turn, through its inmost resonances, refocuses and transforms the gaze itself". Werther Germondari (Rimini, Italy, 1963) Visual artist, performer and filmmaker. Interested in innovative experimental dynamics that are neo-conceptual and situational, characterized by a taste for the ironic and surreal, Germondari has experimented for 35 years through many different expressive media (from painting to installations, photography to film, videos to live performance). Germondari's works have also been shown in solo exhibitions where he focuses on hidden elements highlighted in styles. In 2013 he founded the Ospizio Giovani Artisti.
Juan Ibañez (Huelva, Spagna, 1955). His professional career has led him to work multiple disciplines such as painting and sculpture, different printing techniques such as engraving and screen printing, drawing and illustration. This tour has meant a very important learning process and a constant search for excellence in his work as a graphic designer and 2D animator. He has developed projects of corporate identity, graphic arts, editorial design, audiovisual advertising, packaging or animation for different institutional clients and in the field of private enterprise.
Teresa Leung (Hong Kong, 1971) was awarded a project grant for participation in an artist-in-residence program overseas during 2015 by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. She was also one of the 40 finalists selected from more than 3100 entries in the Contemporary Talents 2012 competition organized by the Fondation Francois Schneider in France. Teresa’s interested in the possibilities of urban non-places, art-as-an-experience, and urban development and transformation in post-soviet countries such as those in South Caucasus.
Gabriela Noujaim (Rio de Janeiro, Braziel, 1983) is inserted in a tradition of exploring the limits and possibility of engraving, with names like Fayga Ostrower, Anna Letycia, Anna Maria Maiolino, Anna Bella Geiger and Leya Mira Brander, to name a few. Graduated in Printmaking from the School of Fine Arts of UFRJ in 2007, the artist has been structuring her poetics from the interest in the technical image constructed from videos, photographs and, more initially, the engraving, and by the idea to fix an image in time. Artist represented by Galeria Cadinelli Arte Contemporânea.
Karen Piddington (Londra, GB, 1974) works with film, video performance and photography. She also draws, and makes sculptures and installations. Her video performances are an exploration of animality as a psychological space in which to communicate differently; to behave, move and even see differently. The performances are unplanned and unscripted, and feature slow, subconscious movements, as if outside human time and space. Narrative and reality appear dislocated. Using a playful and serious intent, her aim is for the viewer to lose self awareness.

Cesare Bedogné (Sondrio, 1968) è un fotografo, cineasta e scrittore italiano. Si è laureato con lode in Matematica. Nel corso dei suoi studi, ha anche approfondito il suo interesse per le arti visive, con particolare attenzione al cinema, e "allo scopo di catturare lo sguardo nel suo stato puro", alla fine si è dedicato alla fotografia. "Credo che la fotografia sia un adattamento della visione a una necessità spirituale - l'occhio forma un'immagine che a sua volta, attraverso le sue più intime risonanze, rifocalizza e trasforma lo sguardo stesso". Werther Germondari (Rimini, 1963) Artista visivo, performer e filmmaker. Attento a dinamiche innovative sperimentali neo-concettuali che si caratterizzano per un gusto ironico e surreale, svolge dai primi anni ottanta una ricerca attraverso numerosi media espressivi. Ha partecipato a esposizioni in gallerie private e spazi sperimentali internazionali, alternando installazioni d’ambiente, videowork e atti performativi, focalizzando l’attenzione su elementi nascosti, attinenti a una visione reale, sociale e politica. Nel 2013 ha ideato l’Ospizio Giovani Artisti.
Juan Ibañez (Huelva, Spagna, 1955) La sua carriera professionale lo ha portato a lavorare in molteplici discipline, come la pittura e la scultura, diverse tecniche di stampa come l'incisione e la serigrafia, il disegno e l'illustrazione. Questo tour ha significato un processo di apprendimento molto importante e una costante ricerca dell'eccellenza nel suo lavoro di graphic designer e animatore 2D. Ha sviluppato progetti di corporate identity, arti grafiche, design editoriale, pubblicità audiovisiva, packaging o animazione per diversi clienti istituzionali e nel campo delle imprese private.
Teresa Leung (Hong Kong, 1971) ha ricevuto una sovvenzione per la partecipazione ad un programma di residenza d'artista all'estero nel 2015 dall’Hong Kong Arts Development Council. È stata anche una dei 40 finalisti selezionati tra oltre 3000 artisti nel concorso ‘Contemporary Talents 2012’ organizzato dalla Fondation Francois Schneider in Francia. Teresa è interessata alle possibilità dei non-luoghi urbani, all'arte come esperienza, allo sviluppo e alla trasformazione urbana nei paesi post-sovietici come quelli nel Caucaso meridionale.
Gabriela Noujaim (Rio de Janeiro, Brasile, 1983) è inserita in una tradizione di esplorazione dei limiti e delle possibilità date dell’incisione, con nomi come Fayga Ostrower, Anna Letycia, Anna Maria Maiolino e Leya Mira Brander, solo per citarne alcuni. Diplomata in Incisione alla School of Fine Arts di UFRJ nel 2007, l'artista ha strutturato la sua poetica dall'interesse per l'immagine tecnica costruita atraverso il video, le fotografie e, più inizialmente, attraverso l’incisione, e dall'idea di fissare un'immagine nel tempo. Artista rappresentata dalla Galeria Simone Cadinelli Arte Contemporânea.
Karen Piddington (Londra, GB, 1974) esplica la propria ricerca attraverso la performance video, la fotografia, il disegno la scultura e l’installazione. Le sue performance video sono un'esplorazione dell'animalità come spazio psicologico in cui comunicare in modo diverso: comportarsi, muoversi e persino vedere diversamente. Esibizioni non pianificate che presentano movimenti lenti che coinvolgono il subconsco, al di fuori del tempo e dello spazio umani. Usando un intento giocoso e serio allo stesso tempo, il suo obiettivo è far perdere allo spettatore la consapevolezza di sé.
