NAE: New Expressive Arts, is an event organized by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Carnago in collaboration with the Culture Group.
By New Expressive Arts we mean those artistic expressions not always fully known, but which in reality have by now a decidedly historicized path. And here in an entirely experimental way, the Church of San Rocco in Carnago (already used for artistic exhibitions), opens its spaces to young artists who through the presentation of their video and performative works relate to this place of great emotional impact .
Performance and video have in common the relationship with time. Attending an action and / or video means being ready to be transported completely to parallel, intense places, visible only in that present. Thanks to the evocative setting of the San Rocco space, living this moment becomes even more strongly unique and unrepeatable.
Video and action, through the lights and sounds of the videos and the movement of the performances, become works to be enjoyed at 360 degrees, the observer is completely, physically speaking, incorporated into the work itself, experiencing it intensely on the level of emotions and sensations.
The Church of San Rocco, a clear testimony of artistic styles that have followed since its foundation (1524) to the last century, places itself in direct comparison with contemporary artistic expressions, thus becoming a container of synergies continuously evolving and moving.

NAE: Nuove Arti Espressive, è un evento organizzato dall’Assessorato alla Cultura del Comune di Carnago in collaborazione con Gruppo Cultura.
Per Nuove Arti Espressive si intendono quelle espressioni artistiche non sempre ancora del tutto conosciute, ma che in realtà, hanno ormai un percorso decisamente storicizzato. Ed ecco che in via del tutto sperimentale, la Chiesa di San Rocco in Carnago (già utilizzata per esposizioni artistiche), apre i propri spazi a giovani artisti che attraverso la presentazione delle loro opere video e performative si relazionano con questo luogo di grande impatto emotivo.
Performance e video hanno in comune il rapporto col tempo. Assistere ad una azione e/o video, significa essere pronti a farsi trasportare completamente in luoghi paralleli, intensi, visibili solo in quel presente. Grazie alla cornice evocativa dello spazio di San Rocco, vivere questo momento diventa ancora più fortemente unico ed irripetibile.
Video ed azione, attraverso le luci e i suoni dei video e il movimento delle performance, diventano opere da fruire a 360 gradi, l’osservatore è completamente, fisicamente parlando, inglobato nell’opera stessa, vivendola intensamente sul livello delle emozioni e delle sensazioni.
La Chiesa di san Rocco, chiara testimonianza di stili artistici che si sono susseguiti dalla sua fondazione (1524) al secolo scorso, si mette in confronto diretto con le espressioni artistiche contemporanee, diventando così un contenitore di sinergie continuamente in evoluzione e movimento.
